Half closed, looking down at about a 45% angle. If there's a wall in front of me (there always is) I look through it, rather than at it. Ultimately I prefer to let go of my sight and focus my mind's eye on something else, like my breathing, or my posture.

Interesting that all the people they showed had their eyes closed... I do zazen with my eyes open, how about you?
